Refrigerant R32 is a hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) refrigerant used as a replacement for R410A in low-temperature refrigeration and air-conditioning applications. It is the preferred option for new equipment designed to operate with R32 and should not be used for retrofitting existing R410A systems.
Note: R32 is mildly flammable, and therefore features left-hand threads. An adapter may be required and is commonly available at Grainger or most HVAC supply stores.
